In 2019, Alan was awarded funding from Creative Scotland and Art360 to develop an online digital archive of his work from 1977 to 1999.
Over the last 3 years he has worked with a team digitising the first 22 years of his archive, with plans to digitise more in the future and of course to continue taking photographs.
Archive Team
Marissa Keating - Archive Manager
Marissa is a film maker and photo producer with a particular interest in creative and observational documentary. She has worked both with and with-in archives for over twenty years, and managed the ADPA archival project funded by Creative Scotland, to help conceptualise a searchable website that would suit a wide audience, working with Alan and the team to edit and keyword his collection.
Jack Low - Archivist/Scanning Assistant
Jack Low is a photographer and visual artist based in Glasgow. His work has ebbed and flowed through themes including social media, food, technology, and travel. His work on the ADPA archive consisted of organising and digitising the many film negatives in Alan’s studio, and working on databasing.

Audrey Bizouerne is a French photographer and musician based in Glasgow. Her photography is inherently connected with music, creating press or artwork materials. Her personal creative practice is mainly focused on analogue photography. She’s currently studying photography in City of Glasgow College. Her work for ADPA consisted of digitising, organising and keywording Alan’s photo archive.
Alasdair Dimmick - Website and Cataloguing
Alasdair is a visual artist that creates surrealist photographic compositions by combining analog and digital techniques. He is also a graphic and web designer by trade and his role in the archive project was to design and develop the ADPA archive website as well as designing the ADPA visual identity and marketing materials.
